Our Beginnings in California When James R. Rosenfield founded our San Diego-based agency in 1983, his reputation as a leading direct marketing strategist was already well established, and it grew. Today, Mr. Rosenfield enjoys international recognition as one of the preeminent experts in the field. Now retired from his post as Agency Chairman, Mr. Rosenfield remains a friend of our company and a mentor to many of us. Our Move to the East Coast In 1987, Karl Dentino joined the agency to establish an east coast office serving a growing roster of New York clients. In 1991, we moved our headquarters to our current home, located at 239 Washington Street in the historic Paulus Hook neighborhood of Jersey City in the shadow of the Statue of Liberty.
